Private property rights

Private property rights are protected by the Constitution. Our Founders ranked the right to property along with the rights to life and liberty.  As your next United States Senator, I will fight to protect those rights by standing up against the grasping policies of reckless government that believes that everything you own, from money to property, is theirs if they want it. I will oppose the confiscation of private property so that we can stop the dangerous expansion of government into every area of our private life.
