Term limit amendment to the U.S. Constitution

It's clear that our Founding Fathers contemplated legislators who were citizens rather than a professional political class who made a living solely from serving in political office. Much of the corruption and reckless spending in Congress is promoted in order to help politicians secure reelection. As United State Senator, I would promote a term-limit amendment to the U.S. Constitution so that Congress will stop the dangerous and reckless policies that hurt our families and put our economy in danger.
